Our sports nutrition service is led by Melissa Smith, Registered Clinical Nutritionist and Accredited Sports Nutritionist, and founder of Melissa Smith Total Wellbeing.

With a strong academic background in human nutrition and extensive experience supporting athletes, active adults, and developing youth, Melissa provides practical, evidence-based guidance tailored to both training demands and everyday life.

We believe performance looks different for everyone, and nutrition should support that. By integrating qualified nutrition support into Athlete Foundry, we help people train with greater confidence, recover more effectively, and build sustainable habits that support progress over time.

This is not about restrictive diets or unrealistic plans. It is about clear, personalised strategies that help you feel and perform at your best.

Bachelor of Science (Human Nutrition), University of Otago

Registered Clinical Nutritionist (CNA)

Athlete Foundry is our performance gym and training space, offering youth development programmes, adult coaching, 24/7 gym access, recovery services, and performance testing. Sports Nutrition services are delivered through Melissa Smith Total Wellbeing — the nutrition branch of our business — led by Melissa Smith, Registered Clinical Nutritionist and Accredited Sports Nutritionist. Together, both brands support athletes and active individuals to train well, fuel well, and perform with confidence.
